Our Pastor
Pastor Chip was saved as a young child on May 7, 1979. He announced his calling to preach on May 16, 1997. Pastor Chip began a radio ministry and preached in nursing homes right after he announced his calling. He began preaching on the radio in August of 1997. Pastor Chip was ordained into the ministry on April 23, 2006 as youth pastor of Second Baptist Church of Douglasville, GA. He began his ministry as youth minister of Second Baptist Church of Douglasville, GA in August of 2004. In September of 2012 Pastor Chip became the associate pastor of Second Baptist Church of Douglasville, GA. Pastor Chip was pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Marietta, GA from January 2015 to August 2022. Pastor Chip became pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church in January 2023. Pastor Chip has been married to his wife Emmy for 23 years. They do not have any children of their own but have many children in their lives through the many years of youth ministry. Emmy was also saved as a young child at the age of 7 years old. Emmy is a second grade teacher and has been teaching elementary school for 23 years. Pastor Chip and Sis. Emmy share a love for God's people and a desire to see souls saved and lives changed for the honor and Glory of the Lord.
